Dermal Fillers

Ageing, sun exposure and hormonal changes can cause our lips to lose volume and appear thinner; even if you were born with fuller lips. Dermal fillers can help turn back the clock and replenish loss of volume, for fuller, more youthful looking lips.
Where can you get dermal filler?
Cheeks – add volume to deflated and sunken cheeks, and to define cheekbones
Marionette Lines – To fill and reduce their appearance
Corner of the mouth – To smooth any wrinkles in the area, often referred to as smile lines
Jawline – to soften sharp or overly angular jawlines
Lips – To add volume, enhancing the lips, adding definition to thin or shrunken lips. Also to reduce the appearance of wrinkles around the lip area.
Nasolabial folds – To reduce the appearance of deep lines between the bottom of the nose and corners of the mouth.
What happens at a treatment?
A full medical history will be taken prior to your treatment and you will have the opportunity to discuss any concerns you may have and expected results. You will need to complete a consent form prior to your treatment and pre treatment photos will be taken.

Anti-Wrinkle Injections
When the face is in motion or expression, the lines that appear are known as dynamic wrinkles, however repeated movement over time forms deeper lines and folds known as static wrinkles.
What does the treatment involve?
To ensure you get best results from your anti- wrinkle treatment, you will have a consultation with the prescribing Doctor and the Registered Nurse first, so they can discuss the treatment, your expectations and the type of result you’d like. We will advise and go over any questions that you may have before your procedure. It takes 15-20 minutes, and the results appear gradually over the following few days. Results can last up to 3 or 4 months.
All COASTAL COSMEDICS are Registered Nurses have completed intensive training in the administration of cosmetic injections and dermal fillers so you are in competent hands. We like to be more conservative with approach with initial treatments to determine the best therapeutic dose for you.
Are there any side effects?
After the treatment, you may experience slight redness in the treated areas, mild bruising and/or localised tenderness. Some people may experience a minor headache but this disperses quickly as the muscles relax.
